The weekend

was spent a couple of hours away at a small town called Packwood. The main street through town is set up for miles as a giant flea market. At one point the kids stopped for a break.

Part of the way through we found this old building that we stopped near long enough to take some pics in front of. It was very rustic and cool!

Darling daughter and I saw these cool little garden markers and birdfeeders made from old glassware that we can't wait to try and make. Once we get to Oklahoma and settled that is.... :)

Tomorrow its back to packing boxes. Anybody want to come help?

And here's some pics of my kiddos all decked out. :)

And last here's a couple more... one of darling daughter and one of dear son and his best friend.

Spring break

The last few months have simply flown by. I have missed my blog. We are up to our eyeballs in boxes around here. We are so close to making our move across the country I can hardly wait! Until then though, I will try to catch up here on the blog with what we've been up to. :)

We went to Mt. Hood for spring break. We had planned on going to Leavenworth, however, with massive amounts of rain the week before the mudslides closed the train routes between here and there. So we went to "plan B".

We arrived to Mt. Hood at dusk-

Here's the little cabin we stayed in during the week-

There is a great family lodge there, a huge swimming pool, weight room, etc. Lots to do. Even partake in line dancing lessons which darling daughter enjoyed-

We had a lot of fun. We will miss Mt. Hood. We've been camping there since the kiddos were small. I'll have to dig out a pic of them there from years before to share. :)
