This girl-

Turned 15 over the weekend.

And she spent it doing exactly what she loves to do.

She's such a sweet girl. I am so very lucky. *love*

We packed up Sunday morning before the Superbowl and headed out to Portland to visit the Oregon Museum of Science Industries. We thought it might be a quieter day there since it was, as I mentioned before, Superbowl Sunday. No such luck. Lol! We weren even in the front door before we saw the incredibly long and winding line back out to the enterance. There were banners decorating the lobby boasting that the first Sunday of every month is only $2. That was news to me and also very cool because I always like saving a buck or two! But it also meant that the museum was packed.

We had loads of fun anyway.

A day at the museum is always fun. What kinds of things does your family enjoy doing on the weekends?

The furniture is here, assembled, and we are loving it! The only hitch in our get up was that the company that we bought from locally advertised delivery and assembly of the purchased furniture from their store. They delivered but then couldn't find anyone to assemble. Not cool! Luckily, however, we are pretty handy around here and were able to take care of that ourselves.

Now that we have the futons here we are trying to decide on an ottoman. I saw this one in the store the other day and wondered if it just might do....

I found this at a decent price at a Ross store. They said to take it home and give it a try. If it didn't work out to bring it back. So we are trying to decide if this is the ottoman for us.

What do you think? Its been here a few days and we are still undecided.
